I was born and raised on a farm in the northeastern corner of Montana. There I met the love of my life - over 55 years ago and still growing strong with God’s help. My husband served in the military for 21 years so for the first 18 years of our marriage we lived and made our home in many different places in the US and other countries.
After his retirement, his new job brought us to Denham Springs, LA, just outside of Baton Rouge, where we’ve been for 37+ years. With this came many different challenges for me and my family.
I am now a new great-grandmother and I love the fact that our two daughters live within five minutes of our home. I became more aware of Western medicine in 2009 and am learning more every day about the food industry and the medical challenges families face today. In 2013 I found my passion and my purpose. I started making lifestyle changes in our home working toward better health choices for my family. I can thank my oldest daughter for asking us to take this journey with her. Now both my daughters and I are on this journey.
